Late Happy Birthday

Hey everybody. I have been neglecting the website for the past couple of weeks and I blame school. Last Tuesday my lessons started again and I’ve already lots and lots of homework It’s probably getting tougher this year so I decided to transform the website to a ‘blog’. Without the graphics and other stuff. I don’t know yet when this change will come, probably in a weekend when I’m not busy with everything. School and friends and other things are just taking too much time to take good care of the website. I will probably respond less to comments as well but I hope to still stay in contact with you guys

Another thing, yesterday was my birthday! ^^ So late happy bday to me. It was a nice day, first school which wasn’t that nice but in the evening we - my friends, I, my grandmothers and grandfathers, parents and sister - went to a restaurant to eat tapas. It was delicious!

I’m too tired at the moment to write anything else, sorry about that. Coming weekend I have a what we call a “Family weekend”, we go camping with the whole family and it’s always fun You’ll hear from me the coming days!

Why did people switch to email? Seriously that’s what I’m asking myself now. The homing pigeon was fine right? Today my email program crashed and now all my messages are deleted and I can’t send or receive any messages! I hate the Modern Age.

But there’s also good news! We have four new affiliates. Welcome Shivani, Mel, Olivene and Laura! I added you all to the Elite Because I’ve got too many affies to display in the sidebar right now I’ve added a ‘More affies’ page. Here’s the new classification:

Back in Holland

I’m back! France was okay, did got homesick but I’d already expected that so yeah.. But it was fun, the weather was amazing and the place we were was beautiful. Unfortunately there were a LOT of grasshoppers, they were very big and green and intimidating. We did found some snakes and one lizard, which was cool! I’ve missed the grey’s anatomy episodes on tv but I recorded them all so I can stare 22 hours (yeah it were a lot of episodes) at Dr. McDreamy. Haha no, I just love the series. I’m working on a new layout and I’ve got a lot of new affie applies.. So I’ll be answering their applies soon! Talk to all of you later!

#10 Do something head over heels!

Allright, this is actually a very stupid number 10 but it is head over heels..

Last Friday I went to ‘Leiden’ with my parents, sister and boyfriend. Leiden is a big city in Holland where I was born thirteen years ago! We went shopping there, afterwards we searched for a place to eat something. My sister kept bugging about going to the McDonalds, so we let her have her way. I have to admit that that didn’t bother me at all because I like McDonalds.

Anyway, we went inside and walked to the check-out points where you have to order immediately. Usually I always choose the Big Mac menu, and I was planning on doing that again. In the meanwhile my parents, sister and boyfriend had given their order but.. then it was my turn! 5 seconds before I started talking to the man behind the counter my eye fell on a new poster which hadn’t hung there before! It was the new ‘McDonalds Chili Chicken Wrap’ and since I’m a big fan of chicken I changed my sentence halfway from: I would like a bigm… to: …a bigmcdonalds chili chicken wrap. Ofcourse the man behind the counter didn’t understand me so I had to repeat it again what I wanted.

So, a little time ago I already did number seven: Picnic somewhere outside! And it was so much fun. Together with my boyfriend and two friends of us who are also dating we went to a beautiful place, it was one of those really warm days. We had bread, toast, drinks and most important of all: cheesecake! Around 12 o’clock me and Jordi (that’s my boyfriend) made a cheesecake. Cheesecakes are supposed to be in the fridge for two or three hours before eating them. We didn’t have enough time to put it in the fridge for two hours, so we took it to the picnic place after having it in the fridge for one hour or something. Let me tell you, if it’s 30 degrees Celsius outside and you let the cheesecake stand in the sun uncovered after another hour your cheesecake is not solid anymore! It just melts.

Hi folks! I’m back, I passed my testweek and this schoolyear. It’s summerbreak now yay! I can’t tell you how excited I feel about not having to do anything and just relax. This morning I ordered the sims 3 and they will deliver it in a week, I’m going to borrow Zelda of a friend of mine and I’ll be going to france the first two weeks of August. I think this summerbreak is going to be awesome! Also, the new Harry Potter movie - Harry Potter and the Halfblood Prince - will be released on the 15th of July!

Last Thursday I went to a concert! Jason Mraz and Joss Stone were performing together, it was so cool. If you don’t know them you should check them out on youtube.

Anyway, I’ll be making a new layout for you the coming days! A special one to celebrate summerbreak

And, the last thing before I’ll go back to my sofa and relax and play games on my wii. (Hell yes I’m lazy today)
It was my boyfriend’s birthday yesterday so; happy b-day again honey!

This is because I’m sooo busy learning tests every single hour of the day (besides school), I don’t have time for my website or other things at the moment So I decided to concentrate completely on my testweek this week and next week and after that my summer break starts and I’ll be back updating and stuff! The middle of nowhere

So, it’s official now. I’m going to move.. Not like to another country or city but still, I’m both excited and sad. First of all, the new house is like a couple of kilometers (2 or 3 I think) away from where I live now. It’s not far away. I feel sad about it because I love the house where I live now a lot and because the neighborhood is nice. I just love the small things here, like the tree in front of my room window, the long living room and the open kitchen. On the other side, I’m excited because it’s a new adventure in my life. We’ll have a big garden, we can grow our own vegetables and spices there and I’ll have a new room, which I can completely furnish in my own style. There’s one more thing: the new house is a bit in the suburbs of the city where I live and I’m not used to that, so we’ll see…

I’m at school right now, and freaking bored. I’m thinking of a present I can give my dad for his birthday coming Thursday, I think I might know something! In about 30 minutes I’m going to the mall with my boyfriend, talk to you later!

First of all, YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS: Official New Moon trailer
The official New Moon trailer was released yesterday night at the MTV movie awards! It’s freaking awesome, when jasper attacks Bella. When Bella’s left alone in the woods is rather sad… Anyway, just watch it yourself!

So, you might wonder what the title of this post means. It’s french for ‘the weather is nice’. It’s getting hot in here, it’s going to be 24 degrees Celsius today, which is quite high for the Netherlands.

What do you think of the new layout by the way? I like it. This layout is called ‘Release me’, I came up with this title when I thought about all the children who want summerbreak and who are getting sick of homework and teachers. Don’t we all want to be released? I used the blueish colour as background because it feeled like summer to me. I’m currently watching the ‘All American Rejects’ concert live at Pinkpop (music festival), and I always feel free and happy when going to or watching a music festival. It just has something to do with the relaxed atmosphere there where you can totally be yourself.

The ’sidebar revamp’ is almost over! I wrote a new part about myself, the affies are nice in two rows, and I’m going to write a new welcome text now. Bye!
